If you are anything like us, your love of Indian food knows no bounds—particularly takeout Chicken Tikka Masala. We can't blame you for being mildly addicted: The chicken is always impossibly tender (thanks, to our marinade), and the sauce is just the right balance of spicy, sweet, and creamy..Comes with choice of ACU rice or ACU Quinoa. (Serve with naan and/or green salad. (not included with your meal.)

Instructions:

Thaw freezer meal overnight in refrigerator or in the morning in cold water.
Add the contents of freezer bag to crockpot.

Slow Cooker:

Cook on “low” setting for 4 hours in a 6-quart crockpot or 6-8 hours in a 4-quart crockpot. (make sure your slow cooker is between a quarter to three quarters filled, any less the sauce will burn and any more the meal may not cook in time)

Pressure Cooker: 10 - 12 mins thawed out, 12-15 mins if from frozen

Rice Cooking: 1/4 cup per serving

• Rice to water is 1 to 1.5 (1/4 cup rice is 3/8 cup water)
• Add water, rice and ACU flavoring to pot, cover and bring to the boil
• Turn down to low and simmer for 14 mins for Al Dente, 15 mins for normal, 16 mins for soft
• Let stand for 5 mins and fluff with fork

Quinoa Cooking: 1/4 cup per serving

• Quinoa to water is 1 to 1 (1/4 cup rice is 1/4 cup water)
• Add water, quinoa and ACU flavoring to pot, cover and bring to the boil
• Turn down to low and simmer for 14 mins for Al Dente, 15 mins for normal, 16 mins for soft
• Let stand for 5 mins and fluff with fork

Serving Suggestion: Serve naan and/or green salad.
