Portuguese Bifanas with Piri Piri Pulled Pork

Product Details

Piri Piri is the Portuguese National spice and Bifanas are the Portuguese National Sandwich generally made with pork. So, we combined the sandwich and spice to make our "Portuguese Bifanas with Piri Piri Pulled Pork." These Portuguese sandwiches are made of succulent marinated pork served in crunchy white bread (Not Included). The marinade is made with spices including Piri Piri paprika, garlic, and white wine.

Bifanas can be served with a bowl of soup and fries for a full meal at lunch or dinner time. Or served with beer, for a typical late night Portuguese snack.You can add more ingredients to your sandwich such as eggs, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes or stick with the traditional one.

Cooking Instructions:

Thaw freezer meal overnight in refrigerator or in the morning in cold water.
Add the contents of freezer bag to crockpot.’Add water according to the number of servings
For 1-2 servings add 1/4 cup of water, for 3-4 servings add 1/2 cups of water for 5-6 servings add 1 cups of water and for 7-8 servings add 1.5 cups of water.

Slow Cooker:
Cook on “low” setting for 6 hours in a 6-quart crockpot or 6-8 hours in a 4-quart crockpot.
(make sure your slow cooker is between a quarter to three quarters filled, any less the sauce will burn and any more the meal may not cook in time)

Pressure Cooker: 8 - 10 mins thawed out, 10-12 mins if from frozen

Serving Suggestion: Serve of Bread Rolls or green salad and/or steamed broccoli.
