French Pot-Au-Feu

Product Details

The national dish of France is Pot-au-Feu (Pot of Fire) and is a classic comfort dish prepared using stewed meats and vegetables. According to the chef Raymond Blanc, pot-au-feu is "the quintessence of French family cuisine; it is the most celebrated dish in France. It honours the tables of the rich and poor alike.

Instructions:

Thaw freezer meal overnight in refrigerator or in the morning in cold water.
Add the contents of main freezer bag to crockpot.

Slow Cooker:

Cook on “low” setting for 6 - 8 hours in a 6-quart crockpot or 8-10 hours in a 4-quart crockpot. (make sure your slow cooker is between a quarter to three quarters filled, any less the sauce will burn and any more the meal may not cook in time)

Pressure Cooker: 15 - 16 mins thawed out, 17-18 mins if from frozen

Serving Suggestion: Serve with cauliflower rice ACU rice, ACU Quinoa and/or green salad.
