Homemade chicken noodle soup from scratch is an absolute favorite comfort food. Just the smell of it simmering away is soothing and totally gives the kids the hygge vibes. This is the perfect winter Sunday recipe to have going while you tend to other chores and have the kids watching Netflix. :) Serve with a side salad.

Cooking Instructions:

Thaw freezer meal overnight in refrigerator or in the morning in cold water.

Add the contents of freezer bag to crockpot.’Add water according to the number of servings

For 1-2 servings add 1 cup of water, for 3-4 servings add 1.5 cups of water for 5-6 servings add 2 cups of water and for 7-8 servings add 2.5 cups of water.

Slow Cooker:

Cook on “low” setting for 4 hours in a 6-quart crockpot or 6-8 hours in a 4-quart crockpot.

(make sure your slow cooker is between a quarter to three quarters filled, any less the sauce will burn and any more the meal may not cook in time)

Pressure Cooker: 8 - 10 mins thawed out, 10-12 mins if from frozen

Serving Suggestion: Top with crushed red pepper chili flakes and serve a green salad and/or steamed broccoli.
